#73 - New School Year 26'
It’s the start of a new School Year! And the Fall Season is beginning to get here. New classes, new memories, new events, and new activities to do. I’m excited as an educator too, because there’s always something meaningful to take in from a brand new school year. It’s a great time to figure out what worked, what didn’t work, and to set new goals for the next 12 months ahead.
Looking forward, spending time reading and writing is going to be the norm for me. I’ve been reading and taking notes a lot in my spare time and I want to shoot above and beyond in creating a new course to sell on this website. It would be great to deliver something of value to the world economy and to publish something meaningful. However, one thing I have struggled with is patience and choosing my battles wisely. But now I believe I have found a great writing topic! This last year, I experimented a lot with artwork, writing, researching, heavy duty studying, and seeing what software works and what doesn’t. Some of the things that I discovered are:
-Crafting beautiful paintings for my courses is time consuming, but the results are amazing. I want to continue to do this for a high quality effect. Again, all of these scenes I am painting in Pixelart and usually it takes me about a week to create a scene.
-Research is key. I’m using Google Scholar and various academic databases to find the latest research on my current topic. My current topic is catered towards education and I don’t really have much to say at the moment.
-Cooking takes patience. Making a course is akin to slow cooking food in a Crock Pot. You have to be very patient with yourself. My current course that I will be creating is a Year long course. I’ve abandoned my other previous courses and will definitely go back to them in the future. However, this next topic is something very interesting and very rewarding I believe. It’s going to take me about a year to actually cook something up and get just the research done.
-Enjoy life and enjoy the process. Time again is key and so it takes time to struggle to figure things out. I think I finally have a wonderful website and a way to sell my products in a practical and not so expensive way. Since I currently don’t have any customers/traffic at the moment. It’s okay, I’m building a boxed Garden for the future.
-Living Life is like a Gardening. Creating a project is like creating a boxed Garden. You create your rules and structure and then you carve out what you think or believe is important. Not only that, but besides elegant metaphors, I’ve started actual gardening!!!! And my stuff is growing!!!!
Anyways, blogging here is a space where I can put my thoughts about my current projects, make goals for myself, and have a record about what my thoughts were in the past.
To a new year, new ambitions, progress, and growth!!!!!!
